Title: Hardware Clock ID Not Auto‑Assigning for New Hires Fix
Problem Statement:
New hires created after the initial Time account setup are not automatically receiving a Hardware Clock ID, even when a ZKT clock is configured, and an employee template is assigned. This prevents new employees from being able to punch in using the ZKT hardware clock. Support specialists must manually import the Hardware Clock ID for every new hire, causing unnecessary delays and additional manual workload.
Use Case:
As an administrator or implementation specialist, I need new hires who are auto‑assigned an employee template to also automatically receive the correct Hardware Clock ID so they can fully use the ZKT hardware clock without requiring manual imports or specialist intervention.
Release Notes:
A fix has been implemented to restore automatic assignment of the Hardware Clock ID for new hires. When a new employee is created and an employee template is applied, the system will now correctly assign the required Hardware Clock ID without any manual import. This ensures new employees can immediately use the ZKT timeclock as expected and removes the need for specialists to perform manual corrections.
Title: Time Off Calendar Display Fix for January 31, 2026
Work Item: TS-23046
Problem Statement: Approved time off requests were not displaying on the Auris Time Off calendar for January 31, 2026, despite being successfully submitted and approved. This caused confusion for administrators and employees, as time off appeared missing for that specific date while displaying correctly for all surrounding dates.
- Use Case:
Employees submit PTO or Unpaid Time Off requests for January 31, 2026.
- Administrators approve the time off requests.
- Administrators and employees rely on the Time Off calendar for accurate visibility into scheduled absences.
Release Notes: An issue has been resolved where approved Time Off requests were not appearing on the Auris Time Off calendar for January 31, 2026.
In affected environments, employees could successfully submit Time Off requests for this date, and administrators could approve them; however, the approved requests did not display on the Time Off calendar for that day. Time Off requests for all dates before and after January 31, 2026 continued to display correctly, making the issue isolated and difficult to diagnose.
This update ensures that:
- Approved Time Off requests for January 31, 2026 now correctly display on the Time Off calendar.
- Calendar visibility accurately reflects approved time off for all dates, including edge‑case calendar dates.
